Hannah’s bat mitzvah preparations

Hannah is doing a great job studying Hebrew this summer getting ready for her Bat Mitzvah for January 27, 2024 with her partner Jacqueline Ford. Brenda Namer is her bat mitzvah Tutor and says that she is doing amazing with her Hebrew. The maftir and Haftarah were beautifully done and the service was amazing and the party will go down in history as nothing short of EPIC!

Fun summer’23

we just finished up with the first year of middle school sixth grade at Westchester Academy and ninth grade at Tenney School and ready for a fun filled summer of vacations and camps. We just got done with an amazing summer week vacation on royal Caribbean voyager of the seas from saturday July 1 through the thursday (july 6th) the vacation departed Galveston on Saturday where we had a fun beach day, although it was very hot!! We got on board the ship after Jacqueline got bitten by fire ants! Sunday was a fun, relaxing sea day. Monday, July 3 we got to Costa Maya and relaxed by the pool and saw some amazing dancers on Tuesday, July 4. We took an amazing snorkel adventure where we saw three different sites. We went to coral reefs. We saw amazing multicolored fish, and coral. The starfish were beautiful on the floor of white sand and bright blue water. we met a mexican surgeon and his family from monterray and ate ceviche and drank beer on an inner tube in the gulf. We were so tired by the time we got back to the ship that we didn't even get to see the balloon drop or enjoy the Fourth of July festivities on the ship that night. July 5 was a sea day and then we got back early July 6 Thursday. I had to run to the office and cover for Saima Malik, who didn't even show up to work that day. This was the third time she did this to me and finally I got rid of her. 3rd year of avid4.com summer camp. The kids are leaving Sunday, July 30 through sunday August 6 for Hannah's backpacking adventure for seventh graders and Madison's water sports adventure for 10th graders in camp curt Gowdy Wyoming. Jacqueline and I will meet them on August 4 Friday and possibly go white water rafting on Saturday August 5. I will talk more about this next post.
