Advanced Placements

Maddie is reading at a 2nd grade level. She knows big words and not just recognizing sight words. In fact, she can read sentences like these! She is also writing at an amazing level and loves to color and draw. Hannah loves to look at books. She is talking a mile a minute. She has so many things to tell us! She loves to color and plays so well with her sister.

We are looking forward to Yom Kippur tomorrow. Hopefully it will be a nice, easy fast. The hardest part is snacktime for Maddie and Hannah at around 3pm. They are usually hungry for an apple or pb n j. So, pretty hard making it and not eating a little bite from it.

La Shana Tova-Happy Rosh Hashana

Fall is in the air. Temperatures are dropping to a balmy 90*. It is such a repreive from the ridiculous 100+ temps. we had this summer! The girls are so much happier and we are so much happier. Hope everyone has a very happy new year! We have kids service on Monday morning.

We want to thank Bubbie and Poppa for letting us stay with them at Roxy's house (LOL!!) We had such a great time swimming and swimming and swimming! But, it will be so nice to have our house back! Big props to our contractor for a great job on our kitchen. We are definitely excited to have it back, though! You don't realize how important your kitchen is with two little girls.

Hannah's words are getting so much clearer! She is not just saying mommy and daddy anymore! Probably babbling most of the time; but, a vocabulary of about 10-15 words.

5/10/12 Quickly approaching a hot, sticky summertime in Houston, TX. The temps are rising and it is time to hit the pool. Maddie and Hannah are doing so well with their swimming. They are regular dolphins! Time is going by so quickly. Maddie is already 40 lbs and Hannah is around 20lbs. They had a great time with Gigi and Poppy while mommy and daddy went to Vegas for Jason's wedding. They are loving all their toys and playing(terrorizing) with Samantha. The dog loves to relax by the pool and look for rabbits and squirrels. Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers! We love all that you do! Love, Adam, Jacqueline, Madison and Hannah!

Maddie got a great report from her teacher for her parent/teacher conference. She knows all her shapes colors, letters and Mrs. Callendar said that in her 12 years of teaching, she is the SECOND student to count past 100 at 3 yrs. old. She loves her princess costumes and every chance she gets, she loves to dress up!

Hannah just turned 1! She is such a big girl and is starting to say some words, here and there. "Mama, dada, Baba, dog." But, Jacqueline and my jaws dropped when she today said "I want to take a bath!!" I wouldn't have believed it coming from a 1 year old if she only said it once. But, she said it like 15 times until she got into the bath. She really likes bathtime with her sister!
