Its been an amazing fall! The weather could not be any prettier here in Houston! It is already Saturday, December 7th, 2019, Pearl Harbor Day. I worked a half day today and the girls came by the office (growing up in a dental office)! Madison and Hannah were very curious about how to take an impression. What xrays looked like, and how a filling was filled with composite filling material. Although, they were also very happy to "veg out" a bit as well in dad's office and watch a little tv while mom and I worked. Jacqueline was in the hall for a trunk show with her merchandise. Jacqueline could sell ice to an eskimo. She has the gift. As the end of the day approached, I decided to have a little quiet time after my run. I sat down to watch some football and take a little nap. Tomorrow is Sunday: so, that means Sunday school and we are on the countdown of the big Madison Bat Mitzvah that will happen March 6th, 2021 only 16 short months away. Her Hebrew is improving rapidly and Hannah is doing so very well in Sunday school as well. They have so many friends, Mia Litovsky,

Trip to Greece

June 22-July 1st While the kids were off to overnight camp vanderpool (camp lone hollow), we went on a Royal Caribbean cruise to Greece, to Santorini, Mikenos, Athens, Katakolon(Olympic Village) and Rome. The pictures speak for themselves. Lots of fun for 15 years of marriage and Jacqueline's 40th celebration!

June 23rd- July 7th, 2019. What an amazing 2 weeks Madison and Hannah had at overnight camp at Lonehollow!! Madison stayed in the Batcave and Hannah stayed in the Clubhouse. They so enjoyed themselves!!! Madison's 3rd year was reuniting with old friends meeting new ones, tipping the canoe with Lala, arts and crafts, hiking, dogs, horses and the lake! Hannah's 3rd year with meeting new friends, arts and crafts, hiking, dogs, the lake and sneaking out at night for impromptu dance parties! Hannah is a camp "natural". It was so great picking them up on the 7th. There was lots of fanfare and awards ceremony where Madison won a great camper award. Hannah won the award for "Best Girls Skit in Clubhouse" They are now happy to get back to Wildfish theater where Madison is in Edie in the play "13" and Hannah is Shelly Potts (nerd) in the play "Junie B. Jones"

So much excitement as Madison graduates from elementary school 5/24/19. She had a real graduation with songs, a ceremony, speeches and a confetti cannon at the end!! Its kind of funny, I told her, "When I finished elementary school there was no graduation or cermony. Mrs. Lopez, simply told us we were going to middle school next year!" Still, I cannot believe my little girls are finished with 5th grade and 2nd grade!

It was a busy Friday afternoon in January! I called Hannah upstairs to pack her bags for a sleepover. She also a birthday party to go to. Madison had something as well . “Piper, Piper c'mon inside" (our white 18 lbs. Schnauzer) was too busy! I went outside to hear a funny squeaky noise. She was nowhere to be found. I went back inside to call up to Madison and Hannah to come downstairs. "Hannah get your overnight bag packed! C'mon, already!" Finally, a few minutes later Piper strolls back into the kitchen and Lo and Behold drops a little 2 inch DEAD BABY BUNNY that she so proudly caught and killed to show me with her tail wagging in braggadocio! The girls cried, and said what are you going to do! So, I replied. "You have to take Piper on walks more frequently . . . That way this doesn't happen again" Long story short. There have been more bunny sightings in our backyard since then (bunnys do Multiply). So, that's the good news! After Piper's kill, the girls learned that you just can't turn Cujo loose all the time in the backyard. Actually, have to walk her on a regular basis.

Hannah is officially 8years old HOORAY!!

January 29th, 2019. Mom and dad cannot believe it! You were 8 years old this past Sunday! Weren't you just born yesterday? Pinch me! Your birthday party was totally amazing!! You had 30 friends at Mad Potter and painting pottery, pizza and birthday cake! Ellie B, Ellie K, Leyton, Catherine G, Blair and Aerin Carstensen, Lala Cook, Ella Drury, to name a few! You also had 8 sleepover on Friday night! Amazing party and donuts. Hannah, you are the apple of my eye! You are growing amazingly fast and 4 foot 1.5in and 66 lbs. You are a superstar gymnast, hip hop dancer and a whiz in school. You are an perfectionist artist and a great actor in Seussville play at Wildfish Theatre and (last semester's performance as Arthur in Flat Stanley)! You are totally legit!! Your mom and I love you to the sun the moon, the stars and beyond!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY WONDERFUL 8 year old! you inspire me to be a better person every day of my life!!
