Trick or Treating with the grandparents

The kids all had so much fun trick or treating and showing off their costumes as Elsa and Elsa and baby Emily was a ladybug. They had so much fun and got loads and loads of candy! They will be so hyper!!!

Crisp October night.

As I sit outside, taking in the crisp 60degree October cloudless night. My backyard is quiet amid a low din of background hum of the night sky, I ponder what a great life I have with my two, sweet girls, my wonderful, beautiful, smart wife and my dog at my feet. I have got to count my blessings. Life is wonderful. I am a simple man and I have all that I could ever want in life. Most people don't realize what they've lost until its gone. That's why I have made the decision to live every day to its fullest and enjoy everything that life has to offer. Thank God for my health and the health of my family.

2014-2015 School year underway!

Madison is starting the 1st grade. She is officially a big girl and loves her teacher Mrs. Shanahan. Madison is going to learn so much this year. She likes the other kids in her class and is so happy to meet her new friend Berkley and to see more of Caroline. Hannah will start 3.5yrs-4 with Mrs. McCoy and she is so excited. Hannah is such a big girl and is going to learn so much this year. We have been working on writing letters and numbers all summer. She is so excited to play with new and old friends in her class. We had a great summer going to Dallas, Pittsburgh and boating and amusement parks. But, now is the time for teachers and books and lessons. They are both hitting the ground running. LOVE MY GIRLS!!

baby Emily Larsen

Baby cousin - Emily Larsen Maddie and Hannah are so excited to meet baby Emily Larsen who was born on July 29th, 2014 to Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Mike. Madison said that she wants to help with baby Emily. She is always such a help with Hannah. So, I know that she will do the same with Emily.

Funfilled weekend at the Houston Zoo!

Maddie and Hannah enjoyed the day today! They were great and had so much fun seeing the tigers. The zookeeper read a story about different animals and shared with them pelts of Zebra and Giraffe that they could touch and feel. Maddie asked her a million questions about the animals. She kept telling her about her Aunt Molly from Pittsburgh.

Mother's Day 2014

2 Birthday Girls!!

We are so excited to celebrate 2 big birthdays! Hannah's 3rd was at Chocolate Bar in Rice Village. She had such a blast with all her friends! Maddie's 6th was at home with Elsa and Anna there from the Movie, "Frozen". It was EPIC! The girls had such a blast! We can hardly wait to celebrate her actual birthday next Monday!

Oregon skiing weekend with Maddie, daddy, Aunt Erin, Uncle Mike and Aunt Stacy

1/21/14 Madison was up on skis for about an hour. She then decided to spend the rest of the day playing in the snow at Ski Bowl West on Mount Hood. All in all, it was a success. She had a great time playing in the snow. We even built a snowman. We went snow tubing all day sunday. We had loads of fun and ate really well this weekend. Michael and Stacy are getting ready for their wedding in Hawaii in April.
