MADISON 8 MONTHS OLD - December 7, 2008
Madison for Thanksgiving went to Portland. We all had so much fun with bubbie Sharon and papa Rich. Maddie patted the turkey and ate all her sweet potatoes. Madison just started to scoot forward. She can stand up if someone holds her. She is on the move and never stops, mommy is always chasing her. When we went to Portland it was Rich's 60th birthday. We went to a pool hall and Maddie enjoyed playing with the pool balls. We also went wine tasting when we were in Portland. We had so much fun with the grandparents. Looking forward to our trip to Florida. By the way Madison was great on the plane. Getting tired will write more later.

MADISON 7 MONTHS OLD-October 28,2008
Madison is sitting up and starting to scoot. Yesterday she scooted underneath the couch. She eats all her veggies and fruit. We started meats, but she didn't like them. Last week she got her first viral infection, but now she is feeling better. This weekend is Maddie's first Halloween. She is dressing up as lady bug and mommy and daddy are going as pirates. Two weekends ago zeidy Joel and grammy Kerri came to visit. We had such a great time with them. We went to a halloween party, swimming at life time and over to grandparents house for dinner. We really enjoyed everyone being there. We also got lucky and Rich happened to be in town, so Maddie got to see him too which was a lot of fun. We are all looking forward to Thanksgiving to going to Portland to see the family. Then in Jaunary we are going to Florida for a wedding and going to Disney World. Madison has a lot of fun trips planned. Tomorrow night we are going to a Halloween party at the children's museum and the week before that we went to dewberry farm pumpkin patch. I will write more later.

6 Months Old- September 24, 2008
Madison is now six months old. She loves eating her fruit with oatmel. Her favorite fruit is bananas, pears and apples. She is now sitting up by herself and loves to grab everything. This week we are going to the doctor for her six month check up. This past week was very hectic with hurricane ike coming through Houston. We lost power for almost a whole week and my parents are still without power. Galveston is completely under water and is going to take several months to rebuild. We lost about five trees, but thankgoodness our house was okay. We just had minor damage to our yard and we lost our fence. This was one of the wrost storms to ever hit houston, we had 100 mile per hour winds. I will write more later.

9-4-08
Where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday, my baby girl was born. It is so unbelievably amazing how much she has progressed! I am so proud of her! She is now rolling over. Eating baby food twice a day and is starting to sit up by herself for a few seconds and then topples over. We have had a lot of great company the past few weeks. We had a great long weekend with Aunt Molly before she started her sophomore year at Penn State Univ. She had such a great time with Maddie and it was definitely some great one-on -one bonding time with aunt and niece. We had a great surprise weekend with Bubbie Sharon and Puppa Rich last weekend for Labor Day '08. We had some fun times and really got some great one -on-one bonding time with grandparents and Maddie. We can't wait to see you again!!!!!

All the family has left and they are all coming back next weekend for the naming. Madison is one month old now. She is starting to smile and she is so cute. We are having so much fun with her. This past weekend was passover, this was Madison's first passover. Aunt Jean and Uncle Alan hosted and thank goodness it was a quickie Seder with lots of good food and Matzah Ball Soup. Maddie was the shoe in for the four questions; but, we all helped her out with the song. Madison is all geared up for coming to Daddy's office and she is ready to start dentistry because her fingers are long and have lots of dexterity. My brother Mike and his girlfriend Bria came and Maddie loved meeting them. We are so proud of Mike for his new career at Adidas in product development. Maddie's gonna get some new kickers, yeah! She really enjoyed spending time with Bria also. She loved the baby a lot. Bubbie Sharon, Grandma Joan really spent some quality time with Madison. They are both "kvelling".

MARCH 23, 2008- BEING INDUCED
It is six-thirty in the morning and I am being induced tonight. I can't believe I am meeting my daughter tomorrow. So many emotions and feelings are going through my head right now. We are just counting down the hours till we meet her. Everything is already for our little girl. We even made a sign for her last night. The baby nurse came over yesterday and I showed her where everything was. I am really lucky to being having Lena as my baby nurse, because she took care of my grandma before she passed away. During delivery I told Adam I am going to be very strong and do my best not to cry to much. I have done really well with this pregnancy and had no complications. I consider myself pretty lucky. I can't stop thinking who Madison is going to look like, me or Adam. I can't wait to bring her home and dress her in all of her cute outfits and introduce her to the baby room that my mom and I spent so long decorating. I think her room is precious and I know she is going to love it. I am really lucky that my mom and my sister live here and have helped me with everything. I have had so much fun gettting her room together and buying all these fun things for her. I was really lucky to have two great showers and got so many wonderful gifts. The next big party we are planning is her baby naming, which I know will be awesome! The lebows never throw small parties (LOL). Tonight Adam and I are going out to dinner with my parents, my sister, and brother in law to celebrate the coming of Madison. Tonight at 8:00PM we are going to the hospital to do a cervical tap, so I can hopefully dialate and then tomorrow morning I will get the petosone. Hopefully by the afternoon I will be a mommy. Everyone has told me they are so excited and can't wait to meet you Maddie. Next weekend Joel, Kerri, Molly and Eric are coming to visit you and we can't wait. Then for passover Sharon and Rich are coming to meet you. For the next coulple of weeks we are going to have a lot of family and visitors over our house. Anyways I need to go now, but I will defintely write later and let everyone know how labor was. Please, everyone wish me luck!

False Labor
Last Thursday was our 4 year wedding anniversary, March 6, 2008. Jacqueline was getting bad cramps and went to the OB with Jennifer. They ran a stress test and confirmed it was false labor. The baby is doing fine and keeps growing. So, hopefully there will be no more excitement until we actually go into labor whenever nature calls.

The days towards the birth of our little girl are rapidly approaching. The baby's room is all decorated, we (when I say WE, I mean ME) will attach the infant car seat in the car this weekend because you can't leave the hospital without the infant car seat. The stroller is all ready and put together. Bubbie Sharon can't stop talking about Madison and of course Jacqueline (Mommy) keeps wondering what she is going to look like. Through the wonders of modern technology, we can already see a lot with the sonogram.
